ภารกิจ และหน้าที่ การประปาส่วนภูมิภาค 1. สำรวจ จัดหาแหล่งน้ำดิบและ จัดให้ได้มาซึ่งน้ำดิบ (Conducting surveys,providing sources of the water and procuring raw water for production) 2. ผลิต จัดส่งและจำหน่ายน้ำประปา ทั่วประเทศยกเว้นกรุงเทพฯ,นนทบุรี และสมุทรปราการ (Producing ,delivering and distributing water supply across the country except ฺBangkok Metropolitan area Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan Province.) 3. ดำเนินธุรกิจอื่นที่เกี่ยวข้องหรือ ต่อเนื่องกับธุรกิจการประปา (Undertaking other businesses related to or in continuation with the water supply business.)
